This would be strange but it's not to me.
This story on the UK urging Iraq not to harm zoo animals sounds to be a strange request but it's not to me. For the first Desert Storm my father was in Kuwait and the zoo there had been torn to peices and the animals killed or let loose to roam the city. That just added an element of danger for those that were there and the citizens and the Iraqi's I'm sure wouldn't mind doing it again.

As a side note. A bit of World War trivia, the first bomb dropped in Berlin killed the only elephant the Berlin zoo had . . . I can't remember where I picked that up but it's stayed with me a long time . . .
