So this is news II . . .
So Sheikh Yamani warned the US over Iraq saying that the US is just in it for oil, wanting to "reduce its dependence on oil from the Gulf." Wait a second, how is oil from Iraq any better?!? We're still dependant, and I think that Germany is calling their own shots (well, France is calling them but that's an aside) even though they were occupied after WWII, and what about Japan? I think that Mr. Yamani needs to rethink his stance and who he warns.

He even makes the admission that "US interests would not be served by a very low price," which could be caused by a stable Middle East. This could mean that Bush and everyone around him are naive, OR it could mean that the war isn't about oil! Maybe instead of saying Bush is short sighted you need to check your own glasses prescription.
