Irish or not?
I have some Irish in my background, not a lot because I'm a mutt, but a little. It's never bothered me and I've never bothered it. Why does John Kerry having such a problem admitting he doesn't have irish in him? Maybe he's a little jealous, that and he's a politician and can't tell a straight truth to save his life.

I don't really have a beef with the whole Irish or not thing but there are issues with the fact that a statement (claiming that he WAS Irish-American) was put out by a staffer, printed, not disputed, and Kerry claims it doesn't matter because he never saw it. If I ever let someone else speak for me without me even glancing at it to approve it I shouldn't be allowed into a position to have what I saw be printed.

Of course when the paper screws up what you say, that's a different and completely plausable situation for another day. !)
