Hypothetical=Big News!
So, this story in the Washington Post is about a NASA Engineer that "worried" about worst-case scenario. This is big news? I think bigger news would have been if someone HADN'T worried about the worst-case scenario. I've been involved in quite a few engineering projects/competitions and the worst-case scenario is something that HAS to be taken into consideration, even if it's not even remotely possible. This story, which has the slant of trying to put the blame of the disaster on the NASA administration for ignoring the one rogue engineer that predicted doom when in reality he admits that it was handled appropriatly. Sometimes conspiracy theorists get me burning.
