A fighter and an idiot
Fox has a nice peice on two brothers, both in the army, one opposed to war the other in Kuwait already. It's touching, the mother has both an anti-war poster and a yellow ribbon in her office. A nice story about an unusual situation, you can respect the difference of opinion. At least I could until I found out more about the pacifist brother.

Apparently he was too impatient to wait in line join the coast guard so he joined the Army but says that they never told him about war, guns or killing people.

WHAT?!? Did he not grow up in the US? Has he never read history books? What was he thinking, that the army was there to plant daisies? Am I the only one to think this is completely rediculous? :: rolls eyes ::
